Our Library and Research Centre has a growing collection of books, magazines and news clippings as well as audio visual and multimedia content relating to Australian Thoroughbred Racing.

The extensive library also includes holdings of The Australasian Turf Registers from 1866 to 1977, Australian Race Results from 1978 to 2003, bound copies of The Australasian from 1866 to 1941 and historical jockey and trainer registration cards from early 1900s to 1970s.
Researchers are welcome to use the Research Centre by prior appointment.

If you are unable to visit, our enthusiastic and experienced researchers are available to search the Australian Racing Museum resources and respond to enquiries.

To assist the researcher we ask that all research requests be submitted in written form (letter, fax or email) and that as much information as possible be provided.
Please advise the researcher if there is a deadline. We shall endeavour to assist but due to other commitments only a limited time is available for research each week.

Short requests (15 minutes or less) will be answered free of charge.
