Racing Victoria veterinarians have today inspected 16 out of 18 starters and the three emergencies for this Saturday’s $5 million Sportsbet Caulfield Cup (2400m).
The Anthony and Sam Freedman-trained Deny Knowledge and the Danny O’Brien-trained Young Werther will both be re-inspected tomorrow due to a change in each horse’s gait which was observed by veterinarians when they were examined this afternoon.
The Andrew Forsman-trained Positivity has been passed suitable by veterinarians, however had been replated so the mare will undergo a re-examination tomorrow as a precaution.
Warp Speed and Sayedaty Sadaty's pre-race inspection will be completed tomorrow.
All other runners have been passed suitable to race.
