Racing Victoria (RV) has today announced that a series of synthetic meetings at Sportsbet-Ballarat and Sportsbet-Pakenham will switch dates throughout June and July.
The programming changes, which centre around a swap of Mondays and Tuesdays,serve to assist the Southside Racing's winter racing and jump out program.
The changes are as follows:
Race Meeting Changes
- Pakenham Synthetic will now host the meeting on Monday, June 17 with Ballarat Synthetic moving to Tuesday, 18 June.2.
- The Pakenham Synthetic meeting has swapped from Tuesday, 25 June to Monday, 24 June with Ballarat Synthetic to race 24 hours later on Tuesday, 25 June.
- The final swap will see Pakenham Synthetic now race on Monday, 29 July and Ballarat Synthetic on Tuesday, 30 July.
There are no distance or programming changes as a result of these transfers.
Trial/Jump Out Changes
- Bendigo trials will move 24 hours earlier to Monday, 17 June, with Pakenham jump-outs moving to Tuesday, 18 June. Bendigo trial entries will close at 12noon on Thursday, 13 June.
- Pakenham Synthetic trials move from Thursday, 27 June to Tuesday, 25 June and Stawell jump-outs from Tuesday, 25 June to Monday, 24 June. Pakenham Synthetic trial entries will close at 12noon on Friday, 21 June.
- Murtoa’s trials will move from Tuesday, 30 July to Monday, 29 July with entries closing at 12 noon on Thursday, 25 July.
