Racing Victoria (RV) and the Latrobe Valley Racing Club wish to advise that the bet365 Traralgon Cup meeting has been postponed from this Sunday, 3 December to Sunday, 10 December owing to recent rainfall.
RV Stewards inspected the track this morning and determined the surface would not be suitable for racing this Sunday due to the track receiving 48mm of rain this week with an additional 30mm expected over the weekend.
With better conditions currently forecast next week, the track is expected to improve with the decision made to postpone to ensure the Club could host their annual Cup meeting.
The program for the postponed meeting on Sunday, 10 December will remain unchanged, however trainers will be required to renominate by 12pm on Tuesday, 5 December with acceptances closing at 10:15am on Thursday, 7 December.

As a result of the meeting being postponed a week, the Traralgon trials that were scheduled for Wednesday, 6 December will now be conducted at Traralgon on Thursday, 14 December.
The Club also wishes to advise that they will honour anyone with tickets or packages for the revised date. If patrons can no longer attend on December 10, they are advised to contact the Club. In addition, communications will be sent to all customers.
