Apprentice Jockey Program  

Racing Victoria's Apprentice Jockey Programs aims to develop jockey athletes who can enjoy successful and sustainable careers, and contribute to the success of the Victorian Thoroughbred Racing Industry.

Qualification

Prior to acceptance into the Apprentice Jockey Training Program and commencement of the Certificate IV in Racing (Jockey), a Certificate III in Racing (Trackwork Rider) is required.
