Yarra Valley Cup Reprogrammed

Racing Victoria (RV) advises that following the abandonment of the Yarra Valley Cup on Sunday, 16 March that the race has been added to the Moonee Valley program this Saturday, 22 March.

The race will be a BM100 Handicap with a field limit of 14 and requires 8 acceptors or more to proceed. The race is open to all horses but those that were final acceptors in the original Yarra Valley Cup on Sunday will be provided ballot preference.

Saturday’s fixture will now feature 11 races concluding at 6.05pm with the program highlighted by the Group 1 3 Point Motors William Reid Stakes (1200m).

Yarra Valley Cup Nominations close at 3pm, Tuesday, 18 March with Acceptances closing at 9.30am, Wednesday, 19 March.
