Upcoming Caulfield meeting transferred
Following consultation with the Melbourne Racing Club (MRC), Racing Victoria (RV) wishes to advise that the meeting scheduled at Caulfield Racecourse on Saturday, 1 February has been transferred to Sportsbet Sandown on the Lakeside track.
MRC have advised that they are making significant progress addressing the damage following the fire, however, due to ongoing local council orders prohibiting occupancy of the Norman Robinson Grandstand, the decision was made to transfer in the best interests of their members, industry participants, and racegoers in mind.
Further updates on a return to Caulfield Racecourse will be provided by the MRC in due course.
The program for the meeting, which is outlined below, will remain unchanged, however the two 1800m races will be run at the Hillside track.
