Benalla meeting brought earlier due to heat

Racing Victoria (RV) wishes to advise that the race meeting scheduled for bet365 Benalla this Sunday, 2 February has been brought forward due to forecast hot weather.

The seven-race meeting will now commence at 12:01pm and conclude at 3:30pm to avoid the hottest part of the day, currently forecast for 5pm.

After consultation with the BOM regarding the weather in Sale, it was decided to keep the scheduled meeting on Sunday unchanged due to the lower temperatures forecast.

RV is also monitoring the hot weather forecast for the meeting scheduled for Horsham on Tuesday, 4 February, and will communicate any changes made to the program.
