Vale Barry 'Spatch' Wyatt
It is with sadness that Racing Victoria (RV) and the Victorian Jockeys Association (VJA) acknowledge yesterday’s passing of former jockey Barry ‘Spatch’ Wyatt after a lengthy battle with illness. Country Cup champions converge on Caulfield for lucrative final
The second edition of the Victorian Country Cups Series reaches an epic finale on Schweppes Caulfield Thousand Day this Saturday, 16 November, with the $500,000 Hyland Victorian Country Cups Final (2000m). Annual Report and FY24 Results
The Racing Victoria Limited Group (RVLG), incorporating Racing Victoria (RV) and Racing.com Media (RDCM), has today released its 2024 Annual Report incorporating its statutory reported results for the 2023-24 financial year (FY24) ending 30 June 2024. Racing Victoria celebrate 5,000 claimed retired racehorses at EQUITANA
Racing Victoria's (RV) Off The Track Community (OTTC) has celebrated a significant milestone, with more than 5,000 retired racehorses having now been claimed by its network of members. In recognition of this achievement, a "Wall of Claim" will be on show as part of Off The Track's stand at EQUITANA - Australia's biggest equine exhibition and multi-discipline event - which will run from 14 - 17 November at the Melbourne Showgrounds.
